I have a passion for research and design and how they inform one another.

My background is in academic librarianship, specifically art & design in higher education. I earned my BFA in photography and have continued my studies of visual design principles ever since. Like many people, my love of learning drew me to libraries. Over the years my pursuits have included aerials, climbing, bike touring, native plant restoration, gardening and cooking. I am a maker by nature, and invest my time in creating products that can be put into the world to improve people’s experiences.
